Police Blotter: Rock Shatters Glass; Pellet Gun Fired at School Window

Rock Shatters Glass

A 48-year-old man, who parked his truck in the 18100 block of Nielsen Drive in Tinley Park, said that sometime between 9:30 p.m. Aug. 3 and 10 a.m. Aug. 4, someone chucked a landscaping rock at his windshield. The entire window was shattered. The rock was on the ground beside the truck, the report said.

Pellet Gun Fired at School Window

Police said that sometime between 1 p.m. Aug. 2 and 8 a.m. Aug. 3, someone shot a pellet gun at a first-floor window at Walker Intermediate School 19900 S. 80th Ave., Tinley Park. The window was located on the northeast side of the building.
