Police: Burglar Targets Two Condominiums in one Building

Tinley Park police were called last week to a building on Pine Ridge Court.

were called to the 6300 block of Pine Ridge Court in last week for two separate burglaries.

A condo resident called the cops around 11:45 a.m. Nov. 8 when she said she heard a loud banging near the front door of her unit while she was in the shower.

She immediately asked her daughter if she had locked the door, according to the report, and the daughter said she had. When the woman went to check, the deadbolt was open and a message board secured to the inside of the door was missing, police said. An earring was lying in the hallway and pry marks were found on the condo's door, near the lock.

When police got there, they also found pry marks on a unit across the hall, according to the report. All that was missing from that unit, they said, were "small religious trinkets that had no monetary value."
