Update: Pair Fled on Foot after Crashing into House

Witnesses report that police have apprehended one suspect who reportedly fled on foot after crashing into a house in the 17400 block of Valley View Drive Monday night. 

The passenger—a teenage girl—suffered a head injury and was taken to an area hospital, her mother told Patch.

Tinley Park police are reportedly searching for a male and a female who fled on foot after crashing into a house Monday night.

The search is currently underway near 174th and Valley View Drive, according to an alert from Frankfort Fire Department Incidents. 

Police were not available for additional information around 10 p.m. Monday. 

The homeowner was in another area of the house at the time of the crash, and was uninjured.
