POLL: Would You Let Your Teens Drink in Your House?

The arrest of two local parents has sparked discussion on whether allowing your underage kids (and potentially, their friends) to drink in your home is acceptable. Take our poll and add your 2 cents in the comments.

It led to the arrest of two parents — William Opferman, 41, and Kimberly Opferman, 37— who police said were hosting a party where they knew teens were drinking.  

They were each charged with one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. said about 30 kids, ages 14 to 17, were found hiding in the basement of the Opferman's home, along with scattered beer cans and an empty bottle of vodka.

William Opferman, who declined to comment on the party Tuesday, reportedly told police that he and his wife were supervising a party for their teenage daughter and her friends.
