Report: Tinley Man in Good Condition After Canyon Fall (UPDATED)
Recuse crews transported Ryan Morris, 25, to a Peoria hospital Sunday after he fell about 40 feet off a canyon wall in Starved Rock State Park, according to media reports.
A Tinley Park man was hurt Sunday, Sept. 30, after he fell off a canyon wall in Starved Rock State Park, near Oglesby, The (Ottawa) Times reports.

Ryan Morris, 25, was hiking with friends when he fell 30 to 40 feet from a sandstone wall of a canyon in a remote and restricted area of the park that was away from the marked trails, Sun-Times Media reported Monday. Rescue crews had to take the man from the canyon and then across the Illinois River before he could be transported by helicopter to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, the Times report continued.

Morris suffered a back injur and fractures, accoding to the Sun-Times Media report, which added that he was in good condition as of Monday, Oct. 1. Morris could be charged for entering restricted park areas, the report continued.
