SUNDAY, JULY 22
Warrant Arrest
Bernard A. Price, 25, of the 15700 block of Avalon in South Holland, was arrested around 7 p.m. in the 17200 block of 71st Avenue in on a failure-to-appear warrant out of Chicago Heights.

Retail Theft
Dan Shelby, 50, of the first block of West Circle Drive in Dixmoor, was arrested around 5:45 p.m. at Kohl's, 7500 191st St., and charged with one felony count of retail theft. Store employees said they have video surveillance of Shelby pushing a cart filled with $312 of merchandise past the registers without paying.

Drunken Damage
Police arrested Joseph T. Crawford, 45, of the 16700 block of South 82nd Avenue in around 11:55 p.m. near his home, where his father had reportedly locked him out due to his level of intoxication.
Crawford was hitting the door with his fists, knowingly damming the front doors of the home, according to the report. He was charged with criminal damage to property and placed in a cell at the to "sleep off his intoxication," police said.
THURSDAY, JULY 19
Light Pole Graffiti
Police and Tinley Park Public works employees responded to the 16900 block of South Grissom Drive in Tinley Park around 2:15 p.m. for a report of graffiti on 14 different light poles. The black enamel graffiti was applied using a paint brush, police said, and contained the words "ASH," "MV POLE," "BLT," "ASHER," "READ" and "KSN." Most of the words were "ASH" or "ASHER," police said. They believed someone defaced the property between midnight and 4 a.m.
