Also in the latest police reports, dated June 20, 28-30 and July 1, a thief goes on a Victoria's Secret shopping spree, a woman loses her purse while entranced by Jimmy Buffet and unlocked truck with the keys inside is stolen.

SUNDAY, JULY 1

Unlocked Truck Stolen from Driveway

A man who left his 2004 Chevrolet Silverado unlocked with the keys in the ignition called police around 8:30 a.m., when he went outside his residence to find it stolen. The man parked the truck in his driveway on West Brown Street in for about one hour so he could shower, the report said. He came back and it was gone.

Purse Lost at Jimmy Buffet

About $400 cash, a Minnesota driver's license, three credit cards and miscellaneous makeup was all inside of a purse that was taken from a woman who was attending a Jimmy Buffet concert in between 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., according to the report. The woman, who was at the First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre on Ridgeland Avenue, said she was in the seating area on the south side of the stage, enjoying the show, when she noticed the bag missing from inside a blanket she was carrying.

Thief Goes on Victoria's Secret Spree

A  woman called police around 6:20 p.m. after receiving a bill for about $750 worth of merchandise from Victoria's Secret in Orland Park that she never bought. She found out that someone opened a credit card in her name at the store, according to the report.

THURSDAY, JUNE 28

Smoking Man Possibly Peeps in Windows

A woman living on 162nd Place in asked police to issue a trespass warning to her 52-year-old neighbor "who has a history" of looking into area windows.

The woman went outside and found cigarette butts belonging to the man outside one her home, the report said. The man told police he believed the woman took the butts from his residence and placed them there. He was issued a trespass warning and was asked to avoid the neighbor's property. 

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 20

Warrant Arrest

  • Darrel E. Walton, 49, of the 7700 block of South Cornell in Chicago, was arrested around 1 p.m. in Hazel Crest on a failure-to-appear warrant out of for driving with a suspended license. His bail was set at $25,000. 
  • Daniel Rodriguez, 36, of the 400 block of Wilder Street in Aurora, was arrested at an unspecified time in Palatine on a failure-to-appear warrant out of Cook County. 

Possession of Marijuana

Michael K. Anderson, 27, of the 6600 block of West 95th Street in Oak Lawn, was arrested around 9:55 p.m. near the intersection of 168th Street and Harlem Avenue in . He was charged with driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motorcycle and possession of marijuana. His bail was set at $2,000.

Bicycle Stolen

A woman called police around 4:40 p.m. to report that between 8 p.m. June 19 and 7 a.m. June 20, someone stole her $350 Panasonic 10-speed from the back of her residence in the 16500 block of South Blossom Lane in . The bicycle had a light pink frame and silver handle bars, police said. It also had a blue bell on it and one of its brake cables replaced.
