A Tinley Park dad filed a report at the police department last week saying that a strange man was waiting behind his son's bus stop.

A local father stopped in the  on Friday to report that the day before, his 10-year-old son noticed a strange man parked near his school bus stop.

The man was sitting in a blue vehicle around 3:50 p.m. in the 7000 block of West 170th Street, just behind the bus drop-off, the father told police.

When the boy got off the bus, the man waved at him and motioned for him to come over. The boy then ran to his nearby apartment, where his older sister buzzed him in.
