UPDATED: 4-Year-Old Tinley Park Girl Killed After Car Crash
The girl was struck at about 4 p.m. Monday night on the 6500 block of 175th Street, police said.
A 4-year-old Tinley Park girl was killed Monday night after being struck by a car police said was driven by a 16-year-old boy, the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said.
The crash took place at about 4 p.m. Monday on the 6500 block of 175th Street, Tinley Park police said. Accident investigators were still on the scene at 7 p.m. At that time, the road was still closed off between 64th Court and 66th Avenue.
Neither Tinley Park nor Cook County released the names of the driver and the girl. This story will be updated as more information is made available.
