Tinley Park Man Fined for Shooting Wife With Stun Gun Over a Bet

John Grant, 42, was fined $600 in connection with shooting his wife with a stun gun over the outcome of a Bears-Packer game, according to reports.

A Tinley Park man was fined after he pleaded no contest to charges in connection with shooting his wife over a football bet in November, ABC7 News reports.

John Grant, 42, a truck driver from Tinley Park, was fined $600 by a Wisconsin judge and avoids jail time with the plea, the TV station reports.

Grant bet his wife on the outcome of the Chicago Bears-Green Bay Packers game on Monday Night Football, and shot her three times with a stun gun after the Bears won.
