Tinley Police Question Suspicious Bike Riders

Police brought two men into the station for questioning this week after a woman said she saw them looking for unlocked cars.

A 26-year-old man and a 32-year-old man were taken to the for questioning around midnight, when a woman said she saw them riding their bikes on 180th Street and checking vehicles for unlocked doors.

Police found the men shortly after a woman called to report the incident, according to the report. A GPS and a lighter were recovered nearby.

The older man denied all involvement in the attempted break-ins, blaming everything on the younger man. The younger man denied everything.

Police eventually released the two because of lack of evidence.
