Tinley Teen Photographed by Suspicious Man in SUV

A 15-year-old Tinley Park high school student was photographed by a man on his camera phone while walking to her bus stop the same day a 12-year-old girl was attacked in Orland Hills.

A man driving a light blue SUV took pictures of a Tinley Park teen the same day a girl in Orland Hills was attacked coming home from school.

A 15-year-old Tinley Park girl was walking to her bus stop, located near the intersection of Nottingham and Ozark, at about 7:30 a.m. on Monday, according to Tinley Park police.

A white male parked in a light blue SUV in the 7700 block of Nottingham took pictures of the girl using a camera phone, according to a police report. The man then drove west on Nottingham Drive and pulled a U-turn on Ozark Avenue. The passenger-side window of the SUV was down as the man drove by, but he did not say anything to the girl, the report states.

The driver in the Tinley Park incident is described as a 25-year-old white male with blond hair and a thin build, the report states. The girl did not know the make or model of the light blue SUV and was unable to provide a license plate number.

At least one neighbor told police that they did not have anyone scheduled to come by and take photographs that day, the report states.
