Two Underagers Face Booze Related Charges, One Faces Cocaine Possession

Police arrested three people over the weekend outside a local business.

said they arrested two teens and a 20-year-old around 10:20 p.m. Friday who they found drinking inside a car in a local parking lot.

They approached a suspicious 2010 Hyundai in the Centennial Bowling Lanes parking area because "subjects commonly drink alcohol in their vehicles while in the lot," according to the police report. The bowling alley is located at 16050 Centennial Circle in .

They shined their flashlights through steam covered windows and saw the trio holding water bottles with a clear liquid and cans of soda.

They asked the three to get out of the car and when they did, saw Allyson M. Skinner, 18, zip something into her purse and set it aside, they said.

"Believing Skinner may have attempted to conceal something in her purse, I asked if she had any illegal items inside," the officer wrote in the report.

She said she had nothing illegal and gave him permission to search the bag. The officer found a pack of Newport cigarettes that contained a rolled up dollar bill and a plastic credit card, the report said. He then called a female officer to the scene to search Skinner. The officer found a small Ziplock bag of cocaine in Skinner's pants, the report said.

Skinner, of the 20100 block of Deerfield Court in Frankfort, was charged with underage consumption of alcohol and possession of a controlled substance.

Steven P. Hatsman, 19, of the 9400 block of Caledonia Drive in , and Kristoffer A. Kogan, 20, of the 9900 block of Constitution Court in Orland Park, were issued local ordinance violations for underage possession of alcohol and underage consumption of alcohol, respectively.
