Vandals Smash Lawn Lighting

Don't let troublemakers get away with wrecking your lawn. Report property crime to the Tinley Park Police Department.

Decorative lawn lighting in the 17700 block of 71st Avenue was damaged or stolen on May 8, according to reports.

Three landscaping lights were removed sometime between 1 a.m. and 3 p.m. from the front yard and thrown at a window of one home, denting the window casing. The window screen also was torn.

Around the same time, a decorative light police in the front yard of a neighbor was pushed over, according to report. The light at the top of the pole was broken.
