National Night Out 2011 America’s Night Out Against Crime

Tinley Park will be joining forces with more than 37 million people in more than 15,000 communities across the country in promoting cooperative, police-community crime prevention efforts during the 28th Annual National Night Out celebration. 

National Night Out is a unique, nationwide crime, drug and violence prevention program designed to create awareness of the importance of crime prevention programs and their impact on reducing crime, drugs and violence.
 
Visit with Tinley Park police officers, firefighters, public works employees, paramedics, Emergency Management Agency and representatives from local businesses.  Plus you can learn about train safety by riding CN Railroad Little Obie the Train.
 
Opening flag ceremony at 5 p.m. by Tinley Park VFW Post 2791. Classic Car Show from 5-9 p.m. register on site.
Dotsie the Clown face painting from 5-9 p.m. Tae kwon do demonstration from Family Martial Arts at 6 p.m. Demonstration by K-9 Officer Bob Diorio and Thor at 6:30 p.m. David Fleming will present his magic/juggling variety show from 7-7:45 p.m
