More Red Light Cameras in Tinley Park? Maybe

Which intersections do you think would need a red light camera?

Drivers in Tinley Park might have to be more careful, as the Village of Tinley Park mulls installing additional red light cameras.

The three red light cameras positioned on Harlem Avenue—at 159th, 171st, and 183rd—have brought in roughly $1 million in revenue, officials have said. Officials are preparing to request bids; the current agreement with Redflex ends July 13.

The Village could ask bidders for suggestions on intersections that would benefit from a red light camera.
