Village Meetings: Who's Gathering This Week (April 29-May 3)

Patch tells you what boards, commissions and other panels are holding public meetings. This week, the Tinley Park Plan Commission discusses possible amendments to the village's zoning ordinance.

Each week, Patch will list the various Village of Tinley Park commissions, committees and other governmental bodies that are meeting over the next five days. These listings will note the top items on the agenda, as well.

Meetings are held at the Village Hall unless otherwise noted. Under the state's Opening Meetings Act, notice of public meetings and their agendas must be posted at least 48 hours in advance. Agendas and minutes from past meetings can be found at the village website.

THURSDAY, MAY 2

Plan Commission, 7 p.m.: The panel will look at recommending to the Village Board amendments to the Tinley Park Zoning Ordinance. The amendments deal with indoor commercial recreation; inside warehousing and sale of vehicles; antiques, thrift stores, consignment shops, and secondhand stores; and other items. This agenda item was tabled at the commission's April 18 meeting. The full agenda is on the village website.
