Village Meetings: Who's Gathering This Week (June 3-7) (Update)

Patch tells you what boards, commissions and other panels are holding public meetings. The Village Board votes on refinancing its 2010 bonds and honors the police officer who pursued the accused gunman in March's fatal 7-Eleven shooting.

UPDATE (2:38 p.m. Monday, June 3): Includes agenda for Term Limits Commission.

Each week, Patch will list the various
Village of Tinley Park commissions, committees and other governmental bodies that are meeting over the next five days. These listings will note the top items on the agenda, as well.

Meetings are held at the Village Hall unless otherwise noted. Under the state's Open Meetings Act, notice of public meetings and their agendas must be posted at least 48 hours in advance. Agendas and minutes from past meetings can be found at the village website.

TUESDAY, JUNE 4

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 5

  • Senior Services Commission, 3:30 p.m., Kallsen Conference Center: The agenda includes a report on the finances and operations of the Senior Community Center. Go to the village's website to see the complete agenda.
  • Term Limits Commission, 7 p.m.: The agenda includes a presentation on term limits by retired State and U.S. Rep. Tim Johnson. THURSDAY, JUNE 6

Plan Commission, 7:30 p.m., Council Chambers: The agenda includes recommending the site plan for the renovation of Rizza Buick, GMC and Cadillac, which includes façade changes and adding two, new, 18-foot-high monument signs (it's zoned for only 10-foot-high signs). Go to the village's website to see the complete agenda.
