Is Illinois the 'Worst Possible State to Live In?'

What percentage of Illinoisans believe their state is the worst one to live in of all 50 states?

It's safe to say Illinoisans don't think highly of their own state. And now a Gallup poll has the proof to back that up.

A Gallup poll asked residents of all 50 states how they viewed their state, and 25 percent of Illinoisans said their state was the "worst possible one to live in."

High praise, indeed.

Some Illinoisans do think highly of their state. We charted out how many said it was the best state to live in. Spoiler alert: It's a lower figure than those who believe it's the worst state to live in.
