Looks Like the Tribune is Loving Rauner. Quinn? Not So Much

Earlier this week, Crain’s Magazine endorsed Bruce Rauner for the Republican primaries and the Chicago Tribune has followed suit.

In a statement released yesterday, the Tribune’s editorial board not only endorsed Rauner for the 2014 Republican primaries but defended him against some of the criticism he’s been facing.  This endorsement comes after a less than halfhearted Pat Quinn endorsement for Democratic primaries.

Both Crain’s and the Tribune seem ready to endorse Rauner in the November, should he win the primaries.
