What is the 'Green Dragon' and Why is it Heading to Springfield?

Reboot Illinois' Caitlin Wilson answers that in her video recap of Yes for Independent Maps' departure with petitions for Springfield.

No, the Green Dragon is not something from the Lord of the Rings. It's a 1250-pound, 27-foot long box that holds more than 37,000 sheets of paper - petitions signed by Illinoisans who support the Yes for Independent Maps movement to get redistricting reform brought to Illinois.

Reboot Illinois' Caitlin Wilson was there when the Green Dragon was loaded onto a truck and departed for the Illinois Board of Elections to get the measure placed on the November ballot.

Many are in favor of adding redistricting reform to the Illinois Constitution, while there are a few who think it's crazy.
