University presidents make bank, as most presidents do. But did you know the highest-paid university president in the country is from an Illinois school?
That's right. The highest-paid university president in the country, at least based on total compensation, is the president of a school in Illinois. He makes more a year than does the average major league baseball player.
In fact, out of the top 100 university presidents in total compensation, eight of them preside over schools in the state of Illinois. Curious as to which schools?
