Appeal Your Property Tax Assessment

The office of Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Dan Patlak will conduct a property tax assessment appeal seminar in Bremen Township for concerned taxpayers.

Bremen Township Assessor Grace Bardusk will host the event on September 17 at Tinley Park High School located at 6111 175th Street in Tinley Park at 6:30 p.m.

The seminar includes a presentation by Commissioner Dan Patlak explaining how property taxes are calculated and the appeal procedure of the Board of Review. Before the end of the evening, taxpayers will have an opportunity to work with staff from the Board of Review to address their specific questions and concerns. The goal of the Board of Review is to help taxpayers file a successful tax appeal in a time when the economy is putting added pressures on home and business owners.

This event is free to the public and there is no fee to appeal at the Board of Review. Taxpayers are asked to bring a copy of their most recent tax bill.
