NuMark CU Offers Free Women’s Seminar: Move from Financial Chaos to Clarity

Tinley Park and Crest Hill, IL, May, 2012 – Try to add up the number of hours over the course of a year that you spend looking for important papers or other items. Can you count them on one hand? If not, getting organized may be the first step to motivate you to take control of your financial future.

Being organized is more than getting rid of piles. It is knowing you have important documents handy in case you need to leave your house quickly in an emergency. It is changing your recordkeeping system so your loved ones can find important papers and policies in case you’re incapacitated—or worse. It is having investments that accurately represent your willingness to take risk. And it is having a plan in place for long-term financial security, despite all the chaos in your daily life.

Women of all ages are invited to come to NuMark Credit Union’s free seminar, “Women & Money: Are You Ready for a Change?” The seminar will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on June 12 at NuMark’s Tinley Park office, located at 8001 W. 159 Street and on June 14 at NuMark’s Crest Hill office, located at 2380 Caton Farm Road. This is the third seminar in a three-part series for women, but everyone can still benefit from this valuable seminar even if she did not attend the previous sessions. At the seminar, participants will learn how to organize important papers, tie up estate planning loose ends, review investment goals and risk tolerance, and complete financial documents. Participants will also develop a plan for financial independence.
