Maggie Crotty to Speak to League of Women Voters

The regular meeting of the League of Women Voters of the Palos Orland Area will feature Senator Maggie Crotty.  Senator Crotty has served in the Illinois General Assembly since 1997, first in the House and currently in the Senate.  She has recently announced that she will retire at the end of this term in January 2013. Senator Crotty will discuss her greatest accomplishments during her years in Springfield and we'll ask her about some disappointments as well.  League meetings are always open to the public and we welcome your participation on Saturday, February 11th for coffee at 9:00 and meeting at 9:30 at the Palos Heights Public Library, 12501 71st Avenue.  The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization dedicated to promoting an informed electorate.
