May 24 Program to Highlight Treatments for Urinary Incontinence
It can happen when you cough, laugh, sneeze or jog. You may have a sudden urge to go to the bathroom but can’t get there in time, or you may experience an accidental release of urine.
While urinary incontinence isn’t necessarily a serious health problem, it is embarrassing and inconvenient. Twenty million Americans – male and female, young and old – experience urinary incontinence.

Board-certified urologist and urinary incontinence specialist Vibha Sabharwal, M.D., will discuss the most effective treatments for bladder control and urinary incontinence Tuesday, May 24, 6:30 p.m., at the Bettenhausen Recreation Center in Tinley Park.

Dr. Sabharwal has special expertise in male and female incontinence, vaginal vault prolapse, and minimally invasive procedures.
She earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago, and completed an internship and urology residency at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago. She is certified by the American Board of Urology.
