Last Chance to Support Children With Autism

Door prizes, raffles, a balloon launch and a talent show are all expected this morning at Easter Seals. The event will also honor the memory of Stephon Edward Watts, who was fatally shot by police in his Calumet City home.

Join supporters of  this morning at 17300 Ozark Ave. in for a talent show and balloon launch in memory of Stephon Edward Watts, a child with Asperger's Syndrome who was fatally shot by police in his Calumet City home. It all kicks off at 10 a.m.

Coordinators are also holding a ribbon cutting for a new computer and language lab that was built in honor of Stephen.

of metropolitan Chicago provides services for individuals with disabilities or other special needs and their families. The organization aims to improve quality of life and maximize independence.
