Memorial School will be closed Wednesday because of a burst water pipe in the building, according to Community Consolidated School District 146.

Students will not have classes Wednesday, but staff will report to the school at normal times, a district spokeswoman told Patch on Tuesday night.

All other schools in the district—Central Middle School, Fierke Education Center, Fulton School and Kruse Education Center—will be open and holding classes Wednesday, the spokeswoman added.

Memorial School is expected to be back in session Thursday, the spokeswoman said.
