State-Bound! Tinley Park High School Varsity Cheerleaders Grab Bid

Tinley Park High School varsity cheerleaders finished third in Sectional competition at Riverside-Brookfield Sunday, Feb. 2—securing their place in state competition Feb. 7–8.

Tinley Park High School varsity cheerleaders took third place at Sectional competition Sunday, Feb. 2—and next, they're going to State! 

The team finished on a score of 84.23, with Lemont High School taking second place with a score of 86.77. Oak Forest took top prize with a score of 87.30, Rounding out the top five are Riverside-Brookfield (84.10), and Lincoln-Way West (81.50).  

The team will travel to Bloomington-Normal Feb. 7–8 for the IHSA state competition. Preliminary round performances are scheduled for Friday; final round will be held Saturday.
