Victor J. Andrew's 'VJA TV' Crew Named Tops in Country
The students of VJA TV dedicate hours to coverage of athletic events, fine arts performances and more.
Victor J. Andrew High School's dedicated student TV crew is top-notch in the country.
The crew was recently nominated as “School of the Week” by the National Federation of High Schools Network.
The honor is based on their video production coverage of Andrew athletic events. VJA TV has been selected as the top production across the nation. VJA TV is also a “Showcase High School” for the IHSA regarding streaming athletic broadcasts.
The student video production crew can be found at a number of athletic events throughout the year capturing live footage that is streamed online through the IHSA's PlayOn! Sports network at vjatv.com.
In addition, the team has covered performances in the school's Performing Arts Center and the graduation ceremony.
