Andrew Girls Score Soccer Breakthrough

The Andrew girls soccer team finally notched its first victory of the season with a 4-0 shutout win over Minooka. Lauren Bialas scored two goals for the T-Bolts.

And, since that victory a week ago, Andrew hasn't looked back. The T-Bolts defeated Joliet Central 5-0 on Thursday. Katie Truesdale had a hat trick and an assist in the dominant performance.

Baseball Gets in the Swing

After coming back from an injury, Chris Gomulka made his prescense felt, leading the Andrew baseball team to a 9-0 win against Lincoln-Way West.

Softball Hit and Miss

Andrew improved its softball record to 3-5 with a 6-1 victory against Lincoln-Way West. Jessie Tucker launched her second homer on the year, and Brooke Hofer was excellent on the mound. However, the news was not so good on the east edge of Tinley Park, where the Titans bore the brunt of outstanding pitching from Oak Forest's Emily Naegele,

Tinley Baseball Drops to Earth

After rocketing to a 10-win start, the Tinley Park baseball team got a really check against Kyle Funkhouser and Oak Forest, falling 7-4 to the Bengals on Tuesday. Thirteen Titan batters were fanned before Tinley Park started to make a comeback in the late innings, but it was too late. The Titans are now 10-4 on the year and 3-2 in conference play.
