Andrew Softball Advances to Sectional Finals
The T-Bolts defeated L-W East and H-F to set up a rematch today with Sandburg.
The Andrew softball team continues to find ways to win in the Class 4A postseason tournament, and much of the T-Bolts' success can be contributed to
Kelly Christner.
A home run by Kelly Christner helped the T-Bolts escape with a 2-0 win over Lincoln-Way East, and she led the charge again, going 4-for-4 in a 6-3 comeback win over Homewood-Flossmoor on Thursday.
The T-Bolts will play Sandburg for the sectional championship 11 a.m. on Saturday in Lockport. When the two met during the regular season, Sandburg defeated Andrew 4-1.
