Bizarre Basket vs. Tinley Park Shows Why It's Important to Tip

A deflected pass turns into an unbelievable 2-point play in Friday's game between the Titans and Eisenhower High School. Watch the incredible video to see for yourself.

The old adage might say the best defense is a good offense. But Eisenhower High School's boys basketball team proved Friday night that the reverse—the best offense is a good offense—has some merit, too. Especially if it's combined with a healthy dose of crazy, nutso luck.

In a game against Tinley Park High School, the Cardinals scored two points on a basket that's worthy of receiving considerable airtime on ESPN's SportsCenter. Eisenhower ran a full-court press on an inbound pass that created a deflection, sending the ball straight up in the air and right back down through the hoop.

Unfortunately, things didn't get better for Tinley Park. Eisenhower went on to defeat the Titans at home, 87-85.

YOUR TURN: Is this one of the craziest scoring plays you've seen in high school basketball? Should it be a SportsCenter highlight? Watch the video and share your thoughts in the comments section.
