SCHOOL OFFICIALS TO ADDRESS CHAMBER MEMBERS

Superintendents from Districts 140, 146, 228 and 230 to attend April Membership Meeting

Tinley Park, Illinois, April 10, 2012 – Tinley Park Chamber of Commerce officials recently announced that local school leaders will address chamber members at the monthly membership meeting scheduled for April 26 at 8:15 am at Odyssey Country Club in Tinley Park. Scheduled to address chamber members is Kirby School District 140 Superintendent Dr. Michael Byrne; Community Consolidated School District 146 Superintendent Dr. Jeff Stawick; Bremen High School District 228 Superintendent Dr. Bill Kendall; and Consolidated High School District 230 Superintendent Dr. James Gay.

All of the represented school districts serve residents of Tinley Park and surrounding communities including Orland Hills, Orland Park, Oak Forest and others. Superintendents will provide a “State of the District” presentation and discuss workforce development, graduation and retention rates, and other issues pertinent to chamber members. Officials will also address questions and concerns from chamber members and guests in attendance.
