Football: Lightning Postpones Andrew's 1st Game of Season (Update)
The Thunderbolts will play Bremen at 6 p.m. Saturday after a severe thunderstorm put a damper on Andrew's home opener.
UPDATE (9:21 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30)
Andrew High School football wait out the thunder and lightning flashing overhead Friday night. The Thunderbolts' first game of the season was delayed, appropriately enough, by a severe thunderstorm.
But the delay turned into a postponement for the Thunderbolts when the lightning wouldn't let up. The game against Bremen will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 31, at Andrew High School.
