Gimme 5: Andrew Football's Franklin Keeps Belting Out the Hits
T-Bolts running back/linebacker Jarvis Franklin explains his favorite part of the preseason and Andrew's expectations for the year during a short Q&A.
You'll have to forgive Jarvis Franklin if he seems a bit out of breath.
The Andrew senior has himself a full workload for the football season. Not only does Franklin go both ways for the T-Bolts, starting at linebacker and running back, but he just finished running wind sprints with his team before taking some time in between practices recently to play a game of Q&A.
Franklin is excited to get the season under way and especially pumped for Andrew's opener Friday night against rival Sandburg. He thoroughly enjoys playing football and the perks that go along with being on the varsity team.

"Some of the younger guys look up to you, and a lot of people around the school know your name," Franklin said.
When not playing football, he enjoys watching the game. But his favorite team isn't the hometown Chicago Bears.

"I like the Jets," he said. "Mark Sanchez is a really good quarterback."
