Gimme 5: Andrew Golf's Bilecki Follows 'Lefty'
Left-handed T-Bolt golfer Jeremy Bilecki enjoys watching Phil Mickelson and the PGA Tour.
With the Andrew boys golf team's preseason preparations winding to a halt, junior Jeremy Bilecki had time to catch his breath and play a game of Q&A after a recent round of play at University Park's Deer Creek Golf Course.
Bilecki placed first on the day, but it took a playoff hole for him to win the 15-man Andrew tournament. He tied in regulation play with senior Anthony Martz. Bilecki shot 41 for nine holes, and he pointed to his putting as the reason for his win.
“(It) was one of the best putting days I’ve ever had,” Bilecki said. “I think I putted a total of 14 times (well under a two-putt average for nine holes)."

When not playing golf, Bilecki enjoys going to movies. His favorite movie of the summer thus far is the new Harry Potter. He also watches golf on TV and roots for a fellow lefty, Phil Mickelson.
During the season, the T-Bolts will host home matches at Orland Park's Silver Lake Country Club, but the team also will continue to play matches at Deer Creek.
