Gimme 5: Andrew's Duckworth Rocks to Classic Races, Tunes
T-Bolt senior Kyle Duckworth has found his calling. He plans to continue his track career at Marquette University.
Andrew senior Kyle Duckworth didn't always have a passion for track. He played baseball for the Thunderbolts during his freshman year. Then, he decided to run track during his sophomore year to stay in shape for football. The sport eventually grew on him, and now he is one of the Thunderbolts' top performers.
"My favorite race is the 400," Duckworth said. "You have to be a true athlete and need a combination of sprinting and endurance. That's what I'll be running in college at Marquette."
When Duckworth isn't blazing the track, he likes to stick with the classics. Two of his favorite bands are Journey and Boston.
