Gimme 5: Tinley's Ulanowski Jumps for Softball Defense, Van Halen
Recreational softball player Jeff Ulanowski puts out the fire for Team Smoke in a 12-inch league run by the Tinley Park Park District.
After playing in three games in five hours, Jeff Ulanowksi caught a brief break as he and his team waited to play in the championship game of the Tinley Park Park District's 12-inch softball tournament.
Ulanowski and his team, Smoke, cruised through its first three games on the way to the tournament title matchup. Smoke had yet to play a complete game as it won every game by slaughter rule after five innings.
Ulanowski, who helps anchor the outfield defense, became involved with the park district for the competitive play and team comraderie.
