Hot Shot: Andrew's McCarthy Honored as Athlete of the Week

Leah McCarthy attacked the goal as she helped Andrew hang tough against the Bremen/Oak Forest/ Tinley Park co-op water polo team last Tuesday night. She knocked in four goals but the T-Bolts fell just short in a 9-7 setback.

McCarthy’s performance earned her Patch Athlete of the Week honors as well.

McCarthy is off to a red-hot start to the season. During the St. Charles North Invite, she led the Thunderbolts with nine goals and four assists to help Andrew sweep the invite and claim the tournament championship.
