Robert Matz: Coach's tribute

"Molly (Franson) had a tremendous first year with our program. I felt that she took the guidance of her upperclass teammates and grew into one of the better players in the area. She brings to our team someone who can score and help us get second shots on offense. She is someone who can protect the basket and limit teams to one shot on the defense end."

Personal

Franson said she pushes herself by setting expections at a high level.

"I get inspired by reaching the goals I set," she said. "I want to be the best in town."

Franson began playing basketball in fourth grade. She said she also has tried playing volleyball and track.
