Tinley Park Girls Build a Wall in Front of Net

Two days before routing Oak Lawn, the Titans' girls soccer team played in its fourth overtime game of the year and came up on the short end in penalty kicks.

The Tinley Park girls soccer team is off to a solid start thanks to a stout defense that has surrendered five goals in conference games.

The Titans, led by three-time all-conference selection Christine Herman, split two games this week, losing a heartbreaker to Shepard 1-0 on penalty kicks, before bouncing back to beat Oak Lawn 5-1 on Wednesday.

The Titans boast a record of 9-5 overall and 5-3 in the South Suburban Conference.

Andrew Softball Streak Continues

Andrew is undefeated in conference play, the T-Bolts have won four consecutive games. The consensus is the Thunderbolts are heading in the right direction

Digging Deep

The Andrew boys volleyball team gave a valiant effort in a losing cause, falling to rival Sandburg Tuesday night (25-19, 25-21).  T-Bolts were lead by senior captains and Paul Bilanzic.

Double Trouble

The Tinley Park doubles team of double senior leaders Chris Gill and Joe Ortigara has been solid all spring. The two own a resume that includes recent wins over doubles teams from Richards, Shepard, Oak Lawn and Reavis.
