Tinley Park Titans Make History with First-Ever Softball Conference Title

Tinley Park faced off against Bremen in the South Suburban Blue conference title game Monday.

Tinley Park Titans had more than a conference title riding on Monday night's game against Bremen. They had a chance to make history.

And despite a setback—Tinley Park’s Megan Laib dropped a fly ball—that led to a three-run, fourth-inning rally by Bremen, the Titans pulled it off.

Laib bounced back after the drop with a double that would put the Titans ahead of the Braves for the 4-3 win. Titans pitcher Annalisse Scott struck out nine and walked none, allowing Bremen only four hits in the game.
