Oak Forest’s Tim Barry now stands alone as the most prolific home run hitter and run producer in Illinois high school baseball history. When the Bengals’ senior slugger hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning of Friday’s home game against Bremen, he became the state’s all-time leading home run hitter. His 50th career homer put him at the top of the record book.
