How Did You Beat the Heat?

The mercury hit 90-plus degrees Tuesday, which meant people were looking for any way they could to cool off.

Many Tinley Park residents passed the afternoon basking in the sun at Whitewater Canyon Park. Check out the video to see people hitting the water slide and perfecting their cannonballs off the diving board.

Hours: Noon to 8:30 p.m. through July. 
Admission: $13; $7 with resident ID or other identification. After 5 p.m., it's $9 or $4 with resident ID or other resident identification. Check the park's website for accepted forms of ID.
