Bottoms up! Together We Cope hosts fundraiser June 21 at Rock Bottom

Together We Cope will host a fundraiser June 21 at Rock Bottom Brewery in Orland Park. Guests can enjoy a silent auction, raffles, and a signature beer brewed in honor of Together We Cope.

Bottoms up! Together We Cope partners with Rock Bottom Brewery of Orland Park June 21 to raise money that will assist south suburban families in need.

From 6 to 9 p.m. guests can enjoy a delicious meal from Rock Bottom’s selection of burgers, entrees and beer. Rock Bottom also has something special brewing on
tap for the night’s event – a signature beer in honor of Together We Cope. Rock
Bottom brew masters have combined unique flavors to create a new beer, which has yet to be named. During the event, this special creation will be sold for $5 in pint glasses featuring the Together We Cope logo.

The evening also will feature a “50/50 Split the Pot” drawing and a silent auction. Guests will have the opportunity to win a variety of prizes, which include Brookfield Zoo passes, sports memorabilia and a brand-new Huffy bicycle.  There is no admission charge for the event, but a percentage of the profits from dinner and drinks purchased by patrons will benefit Together We Cope’s programs and
services. All raffle proceeds also will be donated.

According to TWC fundraising staff member Kerry Nolan, the fundraiser provides an opportunity for members of the community to get together and “drink for a good cause.”

“We had a great turnout at this event last year, and we’re hoping for an even bigger one this year,” Nolan said. “We really enjoy working with Rock Bottom and appreciate our partnership with them.”
