2 Injured in Rollover Accident at Ridgeland Ave. and 175th St.
One car rolled over and another crashed into a fire hydrant near the Tinley Park intersection, said a fire department official.
Two drivers were injured in a vehicle rollover accident Thursday afternoon near Ridgeland Avenue and 175th Street, according to a Tinley Park Fire Department official.
The two drivers were taken to an area hospital, but the extent of their injuries was not known, said Fire Chief Ken Dunn.
Emergency crews responded to a call around 12:51 p.m., and firefighters found one car rolled over in the street, while another vehicle was off to the side of the road after crashing into a fire hydrant, Dunn said. The cause of the accident was not known at this time, he added.
Fire crews cleared the scene at about 1:30 p.m., and the accident should not cause any problems with traffic during dismissal for nearby Tinley Park High School, Dunn said.
