5 Hurt in I-80 Crash Near LaGrange Road Exit

No one suffered life-threatening injuries in the single-vehicle accident Sunday morning, state police say.

Five people were injured Sunday in a one-vehicle crash on I-80, near LaGrange Road, according to authorities.

None of the injuries were life-threatening, and the people were taken to Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, a spokesman for the Illinois State Police said.

The accident happened at about 10:50 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 22, and was reported as a vehicle rollover, although the state police spokesman was unable to confirm that. The cause of the crash was not yet known, the spokesman said.

The scene was cleared away in less than 30 minutes, and traffic is moving normally, the spokesman added.
