The extreme cold temperatures have caused closing and cancellations around Tinley Park. The follow places have officially called off or postponed activities for Monday, Jan. 6.

  • Heather Haus: The florist also will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 7.
  • Classy Flowers
  • Tinley Park Bowl
  • Massage Envy: Closed Monday, Jan. 6; reopen at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7.
  • Boston's Restaurant and Sports Bar: Closed Monday, Jan. 6; reopen at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 7.

Nu-Way Disposal


Garbage pickup is canceled for Monday, Jan. 6, and scheduled pickups will resume Tuesday, Jan. 7, and be delayed by a day. Go to Nu-Way's website for more information.

Tinley Park-Park District


Park district programs, classes and leagues are canceled Monday, Jan. 6, but the Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center and Tinley Fitness will be open during their regular hours from 5:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Go to the district's website for more details.
