Ac-Rock Ready to Roll at Tinley Park Library

Making plans for the weekend? Patch has rounded up a list of events and activities going on in and around Tinley Park.

If nothing matters but the weekend, you better plan it out. Patch is here to help by spotlighting some of what's going on Friday, Saturday and Sunday in and around Tinley Park.

Tinley Park Public will be a-rocking Sunday, Oct. 20, with a live show from A capella group Ac-Rock. Performing everyone's favorite classic rock hits, these four fun guys sing the doo-wop standards audiences expect and more recent rock hits you might not expect to be performed a cappella. Their shows are an engaging mix of tightly-crafted music and freewheeling humor that appeals to audiences of all ages.

Group members Chris BrownPaul IamsDavid Wilner, and Mark MacLean have performed for all their hometown favorites: the Bulls, the Cubs and the White Sox. They've opened for Martin Short, Wayne Brady, the late great Bernie Mac and Senator Al Franken.

They've sung all over the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. Canada, too! Find more info.
